Singapore, Singapore 2011

This was my first out-of-the country experience and it was extraordinary! We went to Singapore last September 2011 to visit my boyfriend's sister and to watch the famous F1 Grand Prix! I got to experience the lovely Singapore culture!

Delayed flight from Manila-Singapore but I didn't let it ruin our vacation! Thanks Cebu Pacific (sarcasm included). We hopped on a taxi from the Changi airport to Raffles, unpacked our stuff at Ate Jay and Kuya Sel's gorgeous condo and the Singapore experience began!

Day 1: At the lobby waiting for Ate Jay and Kuya Sel....

The Merlion (baby version), Marina Sands bay and Fullerton Hotel

Day 2: Experienced SG culture! Rode on the train, saw beautiful Singaporeans, got our F1 tickets at the City Hall, rode the cable car, explored Universal Studios and Sentosa, watched F1, capped off the day with a drink at Hooters, Clarke Quay.

Cable car ride!
Thanks to my tripody :)
SENTOSA
Candyland in Universal Studios

Yay! :)
We were channeling Chuck and Blair at the Empire Hotel!

Super expensive bottled water
Oh my Corona!
Day 3: Shopped in Orchard! I went gaga over H&M, Topshop, a four-storey Forever 21 and more shops! Ate burger at a restaurant, shopped in Bugis, bonded with Mischa!

Day4: Goodbye Singapore! See you soon!

What I love about Singapore is the people! SG girls were sporting short shorts while riding the train and no one cares! Their food was the awesome too! I fell in love with beef/pork/chicken satay! Everyone should try eating the stingray which was absolutely delicious too! Orchard road was amazing and Marina Sands Bay too! I love Singapore! I definitely want to go back soon!

My attempt to 'fashion blog': What I wore today!

This is what I wore today! 3/19/12. My Monday started off with a very gloomy sky. I ran a few errands before going to work and that includes visiting the salon to get a trim and fix my eyebrows. :)

Topshop polo | AE Denim Pants | Kate Spade bag |
The Little Things She Needs blue flatforms | Forever21 necklace

P.S This is my first attempt to fashion blog so forgive me for the low quality pictures. :)

Blast from the past

Last summer, my boyfriend and I went to Laiya White Cove in San Juan, Batangas. We weren't fans of advanced booking so this was a last minute summer getaway. The resort was renovated two years ago I think. I fell in love as soon as I saw the place. The room we got was good for two persons only but they have other rooms for accommodating bigger groups. It has a queen sized bed, an LCD TV without cable, a DVD player and a bathroom. The place was awesome! Think of laid back, sort of Boracay-ish exterior and dinner under the starry night but I didn't like the beach because it was way too rocky and little dirty. Anyway, I still had fun because first, I was with my boyfriend and second the food was amazing! I was a little disappointed because they had no cable but they let us rent DVDs for free but next time I think I'm going to bring my own collection. Scroll down for pictures! :)

Chillin like a villain at this cute wooden chair by the beach :)

Going up our room!

By the resort's bar which has no bartender anyway and we ended up drinking Pale Pilsen instead.

Low tide Batangas beach!

Cute and very relaxing exterior
Our lunch before we went home: Grilled Tilapia and Beef Caldereta! Attack!

Dining Hall

My breakfast: Tocino, Scrambled Egg and Fried Rice :)

Isn't this relaxing?

Lovey :)
